I was out with my little brother today Christmas shopping for my Mom. We stopped off in a thrift store in Kilmarnock and I happened upon this:
This is a Minolta SR-T 101. I bought it equipped with an 55mm 1.9 lens for $8, and the thrift store also had a tele-convertor and a small telephoto lens for $4 and $5, respectively. Then, I went to Walmart and picked up some 200 speed film to try on it. I am hoping the camera works well! If it does it will be a great purchase! From the little bit of research I have done on the model, I have found they are worth around $70.
I have been on the lookout for a 35mm film camera for a while now, and I am so glad I came across this before I spent a lot of money on one on eBay or something.
